He was born in France but due to his Moroccan ancestry he is allowed to represent the Morocco national team. In 2008 the player joined Rennes. However there he could play only in the second team which played in the Championnat de France amateur of the fourth division. During his first club season Yassine featured only in 1 match. In the 2009/10 season he already acquired the starter position. In the 2010/11 league season Rennes admitted him to the first team. On 18 December 2010 Jebbour made his Ligue 1 debut in the match against Valenciennes FC when he appeared as a starter and played the full 90 minutes.
On 8 May 2011 the defender once again participated in the match against Valenciennes but that time Rennes was defeated. On 9 May he agreed to sign a contract extension with the club until June 2014. On 15 May he started in the match against AS Saint-Étienne. In 2013 the Moroccan went on loan to Nancy. Upon returning from the spell Jebbour switched for Montpellier.
