ABC Futebol Clube is a Brazilian club from Natal in Rio Grande do Norte state founded in 1915.
It’s a tidbit that the club got their name after ABC Pact of May 1915 which was to develop common interests of major South American countries – Argentina, Brazil and Chile. The three letters A, B and C stand for the names of these countries.
ABC claimed their first silverware in 1920 when they won their regional Campeonato Potiguar. All in all, the team won 52 state championships establishing themselves as the most titled club in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. In 2010, ABC won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C. They currently compete in the Brazilian second tier.
ABC play their home matches at Frasqueirão stadium which can host up to 18,000 people.
