FK Novi Pazar is a Serbian club from Novi Pazar. The club’s home ground is Novi Pazar City Stadium with 12,000 seats.
The club was created in 1928 as FK Sandžak, but was later renamed into FK Deževa. In 1962, FK Deževa and FK Ras merged and formed the new team, which was named FK Novi Pazar. They played in the Yugoslav amateur league and managed to become professionals after joining the Yugoslav Second League. The club had two chances to get a spot in the first division, but neglected both opportunities.
In 2002, Novi Pazar was relegated to the third league, but returned to the second tier in the following season. In the 2010/2011 season, the club took third place, which did not guarantee their promotion to the Serbian SuperLiga. However, then First League champion failed to meet the financial demands for the participation in the top division, and Novi Pazar clinched a spot instead.
