Odense Boldklub (Odense BK or OB) is a football club is Denmark, located in Odense. The club was created in 1887, initially cricket was the only sport represented in it and in 1889 tennis and football were added.
The most prolific period in the history of OB lasted from 1975 to 1990. In 1977, they won their first Danish championship and in 1978 competed in their first European Cup. In 1980, OB finished Danish league third and in 1982 they won the league title. The following year the team won the Danish Cup and finished the championship runners-up. The next league title they won in 1989. In 1991, OB won the Danish Cup.
In 1995/06 the Football Association changed the structure of the league and OB finished the season third, thought the 1997/98 season the faced relegation to the Danish 1st Division. In the 1999/2000 they already had been promoted and the next trophy they won was the 2002 Danish Cup. They won the Cup again in 2007 and from 2008 to 2011 finished the league second.
OB play their home matches at TRE-FOR Park, located in Odense, the stadium is for 15, 633 spectators.
