FK Radnički Niš is a Serbian club from Niš. It was founded on 23 April 1923. The club’s home ground is Čair Stadium with approximately 18,000 seats.
At the beginning of their history, Radnički Niš tested their skills only in friendlies, but soon managed to get a spot in the lowest national division. In 1962, the club won their first promotion to the Yugoslav First League. Despite they did not show brilliant performance, ‘Real iz Niša’ lifted Balkans Cup in 1975, which has become their only trophy as of 2013. In 1980, the club took third place in the Yugoslav First League and gained a spot in the UEFA Cup, where they made amazingly solid display and progressed to the Round of 16. The following year, Radnički Niš finished fourth again and became the UEFA Cup semifinalists, leaving behind the likes of Napoli, Feyenoord, Dundee United and Grasshoppers, but stumbling over German side Hamburger SV.
In 2003, the club was relegated from the top division and managed to regain a spot in the Serbian SuperLiga only after winning the 2011/2012 Serbian First League.
