Aleksandar Stevanović is a professional Serbian footballer currently playing as a midfielder for Werder Bremen SV. He was born on February 16, 1992 in Essen, Germany.
The footballer’s junior career ran at Schalke 04 FC, where he trained from 2009 till 2011.
In 2011 the midfielder followed his brother, Predrag Stevanović, and joined Werder Bremen SV. He made his debut in the Fußball-Bundesliga on November 11, 2011 in a match against Borussia Mönchengladbach, when he substituted Aaron Hunt on the pitch. Soon afterwards the player suffered a crucial ligament injury and managed to have recovered only by the end of the season.
