André Stéphane Bikey-Amougou is a Cameroonian defender. He was born on 8 January 1985 in Douala, Cameroon.
André’s professional career took off in Portuguese side Marco in 2002. From 2003 till 2007, the footballer performed for Paços de Ferreira, Aves, União de Leiria, Shinnik Yaroslavl and Lokomotiv Moscow, but his appearances were very rare. Bikey took part only in 41 games for all teams during four years and went on loan to Reading, where he was given a chance to feature in 15 matches during one season.
In the summer 2007, the management of the English club decided to secure the defender’s services on permanent basis and saw him fire six goals in 47 fixtures during two years. In 2009, André completed a move to Burnley and netted three goals in 70 games till 2012, when he put pen to paper of a contract with Middlesbrough.
After one season with the Boro Bikey became a free agent and soon joined a Greek side Panaitolikos.
In the summer 2014 Bikey returned to England and joined Charlton Athletic.
