Andrei Buivolov is a Russian defender born on 12 January 1987.
In 2003 the player signed a deal with FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod. Andrei made his debut with his new club in a game versus FC Dynamo Izhevsk. In 2008 Buivolov won the Russian Second Division together with his team. The club also secured the Russian PFL Cup the same year.
Buivolov was an instrumental player in the 2009 and 2010 seasons amassing 73 appearances in the Russian First Division and helping his side to advance to the Russian Premier League in the 2011/12 season. In 2011 Andrei made his Russian Premiere League debut in a match against FC Rubin Kazan.
In the summer of 2011 he got his first international call-up and joined the Russia-2 national football team for a game versus the Belarus Olympic squad.
