Andrew Hughes is a player, born on 2 January 1978 in Manchester, England.
Andrew’s career took off in Oldham Athletic in 1996. The footballer spent two years with the club, netted one goal in 34 fixtures and won fan’s hearts due to his solid performance.
In 1998, Hughes completed a move to Notts County, where he made a good start and quickly adapted to the new squad. The player made 111 appearances and amassed 17 goals for the team during three years. In 2001, Andrew sealed a deal with Reading and reached the qualitatively new level with the new club. The footballer took part in 168 matches and found the net 18 times for ‘The Royals’ during four years.
In 2005, Hughes penned a contract with Norwich City and fired two goals in 72 games for the club during two years. In 2007, Leeds United secured the player’s services on a three-year contract and saw him score one goal in 116 fixtures. In 2010, Andrew finalized a move to Scunthorpe United, where he made 19 appearances during one season. In August 2011, the footballer transferred to Charlton Athletic.
In the summer 2014 Hughes moved to Bolton Wanderers.
