Bosko Jankovic is an attacking midfielder of Verona football club. He was born on 1 March 1984 in Belgrade, Serbia.
Bosko started his professional career in 2002 when he finished the academy of Red Star Belgrade. He played some matches for the club during his debut season and then was loaned to Jedinstvo Ub and spent a great 2003/04 season there firing in 21 goals in 28 fixtures. No wonder he became an undisputed starter of the club after his return to Red Star. Jankovic managed to bang in 24 goals in 74 matches for the famous Serbian club.
In 2006 Bosko moved to Spain and joined RCD Mallorca to score 9 goals in 28 fixtures for the new club.
In 2007 the Serbian put pen to paper of a contract with Palermo and managed to find the net twice in 27 matches. In 2008 Bosko moved to another Italian club, Genoa. Jankovic wasn’t an anchor player but he was a constant guest of the starting eleven. He took part in 84 fixtures of the team and scored 14 by the summer 2013 when he moved to newly promoted Hellas Verona.
Since 2004 to 2007 Bosko Jankovic played 24 matches and amassed eight goals for the Serbian U-21 national team. Since 2006 he is a member of Serbia national team and has been capped 31 times and found the net five times up to now.
