A Portuguese footballer Carlos Jorge Neto Martins plays as an attacking midfielder for Benfica B. He also represents Portugal at the international level.
His debut happened in 2003, while Carlos was performing for Sporting. After playing for Portugal during the four seasons, the footballer moved to Spain, where he joined Recreativo. He became the club’s anchor player, assisting his team to stay in Primera División. But the club didn’t succeed in holding the midfielder, as he left for Benfica that offered him a tempting five-year contract. In 2008 the transfer was made. In the 2011/2012 season, he served loan at Granada, where he was groomed during a year. In the summer 2012, he was welcomed back to Benfica and keeps on playing for the team up till now.
