Chiril Covalciuc is a Ukrainian midfielder playing for FC Chornomorets Odesa. He was born on June 11, 1986 in Bilyayivka, Ukraine, also possesses a Moldavian passport.
In 2003 Chiril signed an agreement with Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk where the footballer started his professional career at the reserve team. In 2004 Covalciuc won promotion to the first team of Dnipro, however he never got his place on the pitch as the then-coach of the club had some more experienced players in his disposal. In 2006 Covalciuc was sold to a Moldavian club Zimbru where the footballer managed to reveal his best qualities.
In 2008 Covalciuc was loaned by SC Tavriya Simferopol but managed only three appearances for the temporary club and returned to Zimbru. In 2009 Chiril was sold to the Russian side FC Tom Tomsk where he spent two seasons before being loaned to FC Chornomorets Odesa. Over a period since 2009 till 2011 the midfielder took part in 35 games and scored 3 goals as a part of FC Tom Tomsk.
In 2011 Chornomorets bought out the contract of the player after he played 14 games and scored once during his loan-spell at the Ukrainian side. After that Chiril Covalciuc signed a long-term deal that came into force since the season 2012/13.
