A Brazilian footballer Claudemir Ferreira da Silva plays as a defender for Nacional. He was born on 17 August 1984 in Rio de Janeiro.
His professional career started in 2003 when Claudemir joined Vasco da Gama. He made a total of 65 appearances during a four-year stint at the club. In 2007, Ferreira was loaned out to Marília. He spent half a year with the temporary club, making only rare appearances.
In January 2008, Silva moved to Itumbiara, where he spent half a year. He didn’t get enough playing time, that’s why he joined Paraná in the summer 2008. But the things didn’t change, so Claudemir signed for Madureira in January 2009.
In the summer 2009, Brazilian side América offered the fullback a tempting contract which suited him perfectly. He spent a season with the club, playing as the team’s starter. He managed a fabulous season and was noticed by the scouts from Nacional. Silva signed a long-term contract with the Portuguese club. He continues to perform for the main squad up till now.
