Claudio Andrés Bravo Muñoz is a Chilean goalkeeper, born in Viluco, Chile. He started playing at Colo-Colo. He made his professional debut in 2002 but his performance was inconsistent because of the injury. In mid-2003 the situation changed and he became a starter. Colo-Colo played in the finals of 2003 Apertura and Clausura tournaments and in 2006 the team finally managed to win the title.
In 2006 Bravo moved to Spain signing a five-year contract with Real Sociedad. He made his league debut in October 2006 in the game against Mallorca, which ended 0-0 draw.
On 14 February 2010 Claudio Bravo scored his first ever goal in the match against Gimnàstic de Tarragona and that season he suffered a knee injury during the game with Córdoba CF, though he appeared in 25 matches and helped his team to advance to the top division.
Having made 237 appearances for the club, Claudio Bravo was lured to Barcelona in the summer 2014.
Bravo was called up for the Chile Under-17, 20 and 23 national teams and since 2004 he has been a first-choice keeper in the national team.
