Daniel Parejo Muñoz is a Spanish midfielder who started his career at 14 in Real Madrid’s academy.
The player made his first start in the Segunda division of 2006/07 for Real Madrid Castilla. In two years he was sent on loan to Queens Park Rangers to make 18 appearances during half the season.
In January 2009 Parejo was withdrawn from the loan because of the injuries of Mahamadou Diarra and Rubén de la Red.
He kept waiting for his chance and was rewarded in a match against Sporting de Gijón in February 2009 being included in the starting line-up but failed to show anything outstanding.
Nevertheless the playing time he was given wasn’t enough for the youngster and he signed for Getafe. The new team tested him for the first time on August 30, 2009, in the first match of the season against Racing. That was a step forward but his first goal came only in October.
Daniel was called up to the national youth team for the European championship of 2007 where scored a winner to Greece in the final match. Also he took part in the U-20 World Cup in 2009 and U-21 in 2011.
