Denys Oliynyk is a midfield player currently performing for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk FC. He was born on June 16, 1987 in Zaporizhia, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union.
The young midfielder trained to play football at the academy of Dynamo Kyiv FC for 2 years, from 2004 till 2006, when he was offered to play for the main team. However, Denys Oliynyk spent most of his first season on the bench, having appeared in only one match of Dynamo Kyiv FC.
In 2007 it was decided to loan the footballer to Naftovyk FC for him to gain more play experience and keep good shape. In 2008 he went on loan to Arsenal Kyiv for half a year. Over that period the midfielder scored 5 goals in 16 games.
In 2009 Denys Oliynyk joined Metalist Kharkiv and stayed with the squad for two seasons. The footballer proved himself to be not only a brilliant midfielder but also an effective scorer with the result of 21 shots in 68 matches.
In the summer of 2011 Denys Oliynyk was transferred to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk FC playing in the Premier League of Ukraine.
Internationally Denys Oliynyk represented the Ukraine as one of the national U17, U19 and U21 football team players. In 2010 he was called up to play for the National Football Team of the Ukraine.
