A Spanish footballer Diego García Bravo performs as a goalkeeper for UD Almería. Diego was born on 13 January 1990 in Oviedo, Asturias.
In 2005, García entered the academy of Oviedo ACF and his playing career started off. In a year, the young player was drafted into the youth department of Real Madrid, where his junior career came to an end. During these three years at the club’s academy the keeper defended several youth teams and finished his formation. By 2009, the footballer was considered to be ready to play on a professional level.
Diego’s senior debut happened in 2009 at Zaragoza, after the contract had been penned. He used to play for the club’s B team. In the summer 2010, the goalkeeper left Zaragoza and became the member of the reserve squad of Almeria. In total, he made 14 appearances for the reserves and earned the promotion to the main team of Almeria. At the moment, García is mainly used as a substitute player, but he hopes to earn the place in the starting eleven and trains ground to improve his game.
