Dmitri Kruglov was born on 24 May 1984 in Tapa, Estonia. At the beginning of his career, the player performed for FC Tallinna JK-83, HÜJK Emmaste, Levadia Tallinn.
In 2005, Dmitri began performing in FC Lokomotiv Moscow. In 2006, the footballer moved on loan to Kuban Krasnodar. But Kruglov failed to become the key player, he performed for the club only in one match.
In 2007, the footballer appeared on the field playing on loan for FC Torpedo Moscow. Thereafter he moved on loan to PFC Neftchi Baku. During the 2010/2011 season, the football player performed for Inter Baku PFC.
In the summer of 2011, the Estonian footballer signed a three-year contract with FC Rostov.
In 2013 the Estonian returned to his former side Levadia.
Since 2004, Dmitri has been a key defender for the Estonia national football team.
