Dorian Dervite is a back, born on 25 July 1988 in Lille, France.
Dorian started to play football at the age of six, when he joined La Madeleine. In 1999, the future back was admitted to the academy of local Lille and given a place in the junior squad of the club.
In 2006, Dervite completed a move to the youth system of Tottenham Hotspur, but got a serious knee injury right after his arrival and spent one year without football. In 2008, the player put pen to paper of a professional contract with Spurs, but failed to make any appearances for the club because of various traumas. In 2009, Dorian went on loan to Southend United and took part in 18 fixtures for the team during one season. Despite his encouraging performance for the temporary club, the back did not manage to clinch a place in the starting line-up of Tottenham and transferred to Spanish side Villarreal, where he was given a spot in the reserve squad.
Dervite featured in 23 games for ‘El Submarino Amarillo’ during two years and penned a long-term contract with English side Charlton Athletic.
In 2014 Dervite switched for Bolton Wanderers.
From 2003 till 2010, the footballer was capped 58 times and contributed five goals for the France national U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19 and U-21 squads.
