Dorlan Pabón is a Colombian striker currently playing for Valencia. He was born on 24 January 1988 in Medellín, Colombia.
Dorlan started out his professional career with a prominent Colombian side Envigado in 2006. In the 2008 Copa Colombia he established himself as the top scorer of the championship. In 2010, Pabón moved to Colombian Atlético Nacional. He sparked furor during a 2012 Copa Libertadores match against Uruguayan giants Peñarol as he scored a spectacular free-kick from 36 meters. Overall, he scored 50 goals in 71 appearances in all competitions for Nacional for three years. In 2012, Pabón moved to Italian Parma but was soon sent on loan to Spanish Real Betis.
At the end of 2012/2013 season Pabón was sold to Mexican side Monterrey but only played 6 matches before returning to Europe for a spell with Valencia.
Dorlan Pabón is capped to the Colombia national team since 2009. He made his international debut in a 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Chile. His maiden goal was against Bolivia in October 2011.
