Emilio Nsue López is an Equatoguinean footballer playing as a striker for RCD Mallorca.
Nsue is a product of Mallorca’s youth ranks. His first professional appearance took place in February of 2008. The striker came in as an added-time substitute for Daniel Güiza during a match where Mallorca faced Villarreal. The striker managed to earn another appearance before the end of the season and then was loaned by Castellón in the Segunda in summer of 2008.
Emilio played 38 games for his new club in the Spanish Cup and the Segunda combined scoring 7 times with a double against Levante UD. He spent his following season for Real Sociedad where he was loaned. He made 35 appearances during the season, five of which in the starting eleven. Through his entire career at the Basque team he scored five times.
Nsue wasn’t sent on loan in the season 2010/11 as he was rendered a place in the opening line-up for the whole season. The striker scored four times in 38 games of the campaign. Starting with the season 2011/12 Nsue was transferred to a new position. He played as an offensive right defender about 2000 minutes starting 20 times for the side. Such a success persuaded the Spaniard to switch positions permanently.
Emilio also played for the youth national teams of Spain being capped for the U-19 European Championship in 2008 (one appearance), for the U-20 World Cup (three appearances, two goals) and for the European U-21 championship (one match). Hovewer he preferred the national team of Equatorial Guinea for senior performance.
