Frazer Richardson is a defender, born on 29 October 1982 in Rotherham, England.
In 2001 Frazer graduated to the main team of Leeds United and penned his first professional contract with the club, but at first his appearances were rather rare. In 2003 the management decided to send the footballer on loan to Stoke City so that he could gain optimal playing shape. Richardson’s performance for ‘The Potters’ was divided into two parts; first, from January till June 2003, (the footballer made seven appearances), then another six months after the management liked Frazer’s display and offered him to extend the contract (six appearances and one goal).
After the end of his loan spell, Richardson was given more playing time in his native club, where he kicked three goals in 149 fixtures during his entire Leeds career.
In 2009 the footballer had imperious playing shape, because he started to come on the pitch more frequently, both in the starting line-up and as a sub. Charlton Athletic offered Frazer a tempting contract and lodged an attractive bid for him. In the summer 2009, the defender moved to the new club, where he became the pivot of the defense and made one goal in 40 fixtures for the club during one successful season.
In 2010 Richardson ended his Charlton spell with Southampton move and continued to play for ‘The Saints’ up till 2013. The English footballer made 55 appearances for the club and moved to a Championship outfit Middlesbrough.
In 2014 Richardson had a brief spell with Ipswich Town and later joined Rotherham United.
