Funso Ojo is a Belgian midfielder. He was born on 28 August 1991 in Antwerp, Belgium.
Funso grew up in the junior ranks of Olse Merksem, later on joining the youth side of Germinal Beerschot. In 2004 Ojo joined the PSV academy where he trained until 2008.
In the summer of 2008 the club’s managing staff decided to sign a contract with the young midfielder. In the 2008/09 season Funso made his official debut for the first team.
Ojo’s career in PSV was not a success. Due to the strong competition in the club, the young player either played for the reserve team or warmed the bench. For 3 years, Funso made only 11 outings for PSV. Realizing that he needed game practice, the Belgian accepted the loan offer from VVV-Venlo. From the summer of 2012 till 2013, Ojo had been playing at Beerschot AC. Then he switched for Antwerp.
In 2011 Funso debuted for the Belgium U-21 team.
