Guy Lipka is an Israeli centre back, born on 3 April 1991. The player can play both as a central defender and as a defensive midfielder.
Lipka started his football career at the youth football academy of FC Hapoel Petah Tikva, with which he signed a professional contract in 2008 at the age of just 17. The hot prospect debuted with the first team the same year, during an Israeli Cup fixture. Unfortunately, it was his only appearance during the 2008/2009 season.
However, his talent didn’t come unnoticed, as his play caught the attention of FC Maccabi Haifa scouts. So the youngster joined one of the most illustrious Israeli clubs some time later in 2009. There he spent two seasons, lifting the Israeli Premier League trophy at the end of the 2010/2011 campaign.
In 2011 Guy was transferred to FC Ironi Nir from Ramat HaSharon. Despite his relatively young age, he quickly managed to establish himself within first-team ranks at his new club, as he made 19 appearances during his first season, being a part of starting XI during 13 of them.
