Ihor Sylantyev. Biography

Ihor Sylantyev is a Ukrainian midfielder playing for FC Chornomorets Odesa in the Ukrainian Premier League. He was born on January 3, 1991 in Odessa, Ukraine.

Ihor is a product of Chornomorets youth system. In 2007, he signed his first professional contract with the feeder club and plays there since then. Due to his young age and lack of experience, Sylantyev is not given much playing time in the first team and is used predominantly as a backup player. In 2010, he made 9 appearances for the reserve squad of the club.

In 2007 and 2008, Ihor Sylantyev featured for the Ukraine U-16 and U-17 teams. Since 2012, he is capped to the senior Ukrainian side.
