Jeffrey Schlupp is a midfielder of Leicester City. He was born on 23 December 1992 in Hamburg, Germany.
In 2005, Jeffrey was invited to pass a trial at English side Leicester City. The footballer’s performance impressed the coaching staff, and Schlupp was offered to join the academy of the club. The midfielder became a trainee of the youth system and a player of a junior squad in 2005. Jeffrey perfected his skills and showed them in various youth competitions. The footballer made encouraging display, which earned him a lot of positive reviews.
In 2010, Schlupp graduated to the main team of Leicester City and penned his first professional contract. The midfielder made several appearances for the club during the 2010/2011 season and went on a six-month loan to Brentford, where he netted six goals in nine fixtures. After the end of his spell, Jeffrey returned to Leicester City and fired two goals in 27 matches for the team as of November 2012.
In 2010, the footballer was called up to the Germany national U-19 squad. In 2011, Schlupp was capped one time for the Ghana national team.
