Jiao Zhe is a Chinese right-back who currently plays for Qingdao Jonoon. He was born on August 21, 1981 in Jinan, China.
The player began his academy scholarship with Shandong Luneng. In 1999 he penned professional terms with the club. Jiao Zhe had a stellar debut season, impressing his manager enough to cement a regular place in the starting lineup. An all-action player, Jiao Zhe is an excellent header of the ball. He represented Shandong Luneng with distinction for 12 years, making 208 starts and scoring 2 goals. In 2010 the right-back was plonked on the bench due to his lack of match fitness. A loan stint at Hangzhou Greentown then followed. In 2012 the attack-minded right-back moved on loan to Beijing Guoan.
Since 2013 the player has featured for Qingdao Jonoon.
On June 19, 2005 Jiao Zhe made his first international bow for China in the friendly encounter against Costa Rica.
