Jürgen Locadia is a forward of PSV. He was born on 7 November 1993 in Emmen, Netherlands.
Jürgen’s career took off in local amateur VV Bargeres, where he drew the attention of FC Emmen scouts. The footballer soon joined the youth team of the main club. In 2009 the forward and his family moved to Tilburg, because Locadia joined the academy of Willem II, where he performed throughout the 2009/2010 season.
In 2010 Jürgen decided to end his Willem II spell with PSV move and penned a four-year contract with the club, where he continues to play at the position of a centre forward up till now. The footballer’s professional début came on 21 September 2011 in the second round of the KNVB Cup against VVSB, and the fans saw Locadia fire his first senior goal in that game.
Jürgen’s first Eredivisie appearance came on 30 September 2011 in the match against VVV Venlo, and the forward managed to find the net three times in that fixture.
On 24 March 2011, Locadia made his international début, when he took part in the friendly 1-0 loss to Italy at the U-19 level. One year later, on 25 May 2012, the footballer contributed his first goal for the national squad in the match against Norway, which propelled his team to a 2-1 victory.
