Kévin Gomis plays as a central defender for OGC Nice. He was born on January 20, 1989 in Paris.
His junior career began at the Guingamp football academy. The young defender also played for the junior team. In 2008 Kévin launched his senior career and penned a contract, but played with the reserves during the 2008/2009 season.
Kévin was dying to play in the starting eleven, as he had limited first team opportunities in Guingamp. When Naval offered him a two-year contract, he gladly agreed to join the Portuguese club. Gomis regularly came off the bench during the next two seasons. He took part in 44 matches and scored 2 goals.
In 2011 Kévin returned to France to pen a three-year deal with Nice. He debuted on 6 August, appearing on the pitch in the second half of the home loss against Lyon. He also made 15 appearances during the 2011/2012 season.
