Lucas Digne plays as a left back at Paris Saint-Germain. He was born on 20 July 1993 in a French town of Meaux.
His youth career started in 1999 when he began to practice football. Lucas played for Mareuil-sur-Ourcq youth team until 2002 when he moved to Crépy-en-Valois academy. There he was given more prospects for the future in comparison with the previous club. In 2005 the defender was spotted by Lille scouts. The purpose of their call was to select talented representatives of the young generation for their club. Digne was among those who were called up to study at Lille academy. It was a turning point after which the player actively honed his skills in order to develop his defender’s potential. In 2011 his youth career came to an end.
On the same year Lille offered a contract to a young defender. It was a major stage in his life of which he dreamed while playing for the youth team. Lucas signed a contract for three years and officially joined the major squad of Lille.
After two successfull seasons with the club Digne was lured to the capital side Paris Saint-Germain in the summer 2013.
From 2008 Digne has been French youth international and won the U20 World Cup in 2013.
