Luke Isaac Hunt Moore was born on 13 February 1986 in Birmingham, England. He went in for football at early age and successfully performed for the school team. Aston Villa noticed the young footballer and offered him to join their youth team, where his brother was playing. Soon Luke became the pivot of the team and lifted the FA Youth Cup in 2002.
In 2003 Moore penned his first senior contract with ‘The Villans’ and went on loan to Wycombe Wanderers, where he made six appearances and chipped in four goals. After the end of his loan spell, the footballer returned to his parent Aston Villa and, despite a trauma, made his début in February 2004. Luke managed to compete with more experienced footballers and to retain his place in the main team, where he made 98 appearances and netted 15 goals.
In 2006 the footballer was sentenced to almost a year without matches due to a shoulder injury, but he managed to recuperate and come on the pitch after that long break.
In February 2008 Luke completed West Bromwich Albion move on loan and penned a contract on permanent basis in May the same year. The 2009/2010 season was the worst season in the footballer’s career. That could have been because of old traumas, but his performance could not be called spectacular or even good. Moore failed to clinch a place in the main team and was not included in the squad for the 2010/2011 season. Luke made 47 appearances for ‘The Baggies’ and found the net five times.
In 2010 Derby County expressed their wish to secure the footballer’s services and he was sent on loan for just 29 days. Moore was let on the pitch as a substitute, but managed to impress the head coach and the loan spell was extended, which gave Luke an opportunity to take part in 13 matches and kick four goals.
In 2011 Moore ended his West Bromwich spell with Swansea City move, where he played till 2013. Later he joined a Turkish side Elazigspor. In January 2014 Moore moved across the ocean to join an MLS club Chivas.
In 2005 the footballer was called up to the England national U-21 team and made five appearances for it.
