Marvin Bartley is a midfielder of Burnley. He was born on 4 July 1986 in Reading, England.
In 2004, Marvin penned his first professional contract with Burnham and made eight appearances for the club during one season. In 2005, the footballer transferred to Hayes and gained the head coach’s confidence at once, which helped him to net three goals in 54 fixtures during one year and a half.
In 2006, Bartley sealed a deal with Didcot Town, but fired one goal in two matches and completed a move to Hampton & Richmond Borough, where he took part in 25 games during one season.
In the summer 2007, the midfielder put pen to paper of a contract with Bournemouth and clinched a regular place in the starting XI in no time. Marvin featured in 113 fixtures and found the net three times for the team during four years.
In the summer 2011, the footballer’s services were secured by Burnley. Bartley impressed the coaching staff and got a place in the starting line-up, which gave him an opportunity to score three goals in 65 matches for ‘The Clarets’. In 2013 he was loaned to Leyton Orient.
