Matthias Jaissle was born on 5 April 1988 in Nürtingen, Germany.
In youth he played for TSV Neckartailfingen as a defender until 2011. Thereafter Matthias moved to VfB Stuttgart, where he performed in all youth teams until 2007. Jaissle displayed himself as a brilliant player, but didn’t manage to get in the first team squad. On January 2007, he transferred to 1899 Hoffenheim II, appearing in eight matches and scoring 1 goal in Regional League. At the end of 2008 Matthias became a player for the German national team U-21.
On 21 March 2009, Jaissle debuted in the Bundesliga in the game against Hannover 96. Nevertheless, the beginning was unfortunate, as the player soon broke cruciate ligament of the left knee, had a serious surgery and had been recovering for one and a half year. Only on 17 October 2010, the footballer was able to come back to the team. Matthias has performed for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in 60 matches, netting 2 goals. The footballer can’t guarantee himself a place in the first team squad, thus constantly being in a competition with other defenders.
As to caps, Matthias Jaissle hasn’t been invited to the German senior team and continues to play for the U-21 team.
