Michael Luk
Michael Chi Ho Luk is a Hong Kong-born Canadian football player. Currently he plays for South China as a defender of midfielder. He was born on 22 August 1986 and when he was five years old his family left Hong Kong for Canada. He came through the ranks of such Canadian youth teams as Woodbridge Strikers, North York Azzuri, St. John’s Red Storm and Winthrop Eagles. Michael Luk was capped for the Canadian U17 team 5 times.
In 2008 he joined Newark Ironbound Express, then played for Toronto Lynx and in 2010, after a trial in Sun Hei, he completed a move joining the team. His debut came in a 3-0 victory over Tai Chung on 7 Septamber 2010, when Michael Luk featured as a substitute. On 17 October 2010 Luk scored his debut goal in the league match against Citizen. He managed to prove himself the team’s key player.
On 14 November 2012 Michael Luk made his Hong Kong national team debut in the match against Malaysia.
