Nazmi Faiz is a midfielder, born on 16 August 1994 in Lembah Keramat, Malaysia.
In 2009, Faiz entered the academy of Bukit Jalil Sports School where he spent two years before starting his career in professional football. This time was enough for the midfielder to prepare for this important stage of his career. Besides Nazmi had the experience of playing for different youth teams in Kuala Lumpur.
In 2011, the young footballer signed the first contract in his professional career. Harimau Muda, which plays in the Malaysian Championship, sent the young talent to its second reserve team where he played until January 2012. During this time the young midfielder featured in 19 matches for Harimau Muda B. In January 2012, Faiz graduated to Harimau Muda A and later he entered into negotiations with Beira-Mar concerning his transfer to this Portuguese outfit.
During the January transfer window Beira-Mar managed to make a deal for Nazmi’s transfer. However, the trial in European football wasn’t a success and the Malaysian returned to his homeland joining PKNSFC.
Since 2011 Nazmi Faiz has gained more than 8 caps for the Malaysia U-23 national team.
