Pavlo Pashayev is a Ukrainian defender born on 4 January 1988. In childhood he used to practice judo, but opted for football. Pavlo started out his career in the youth system of FC Atlant Kremenchuk and then joined FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
His senior career began in 2004, when he penned his first professional contract with the club. But most of the time he played for the reserve team. In September 2008 Pavlo was loaned to Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih and as early as on 20 September made his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League against SC Tavriya Simferopol.
In January 2009, Pashayev was recalled back to FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. In the 2009/2010 season he quickly became an undisputed starter for the first team, but later returned to Kryvbas.
Pavlo’s twin brother, Maksym Pashayev played as a back for FC Dnipro and FC Kryvbas, but died in a car accident in December 2008.
Starting from 2003 Pavlo Pashayev represented Ukraine at all youth levels. His first senior cap came in 2009.
