Renan Bardini Bressan is a Belarusian attacking midfielder of Brazilian descent. He was born on 3 November, 1988 in Tubarão, Brazil. Despite that the midfielder holds Belarusian citizenship and plays for the national team of Belarus.
Renan Bressan got seriously interested in football at the age of five. He signed his first professional contract with local Atlético Tubarão in 2005. During an exhibition match he was noticed by a football agent and offered to move Gomel, where he played until 2009.
In January 2010 Bressan joined Belarusian top club BATE. During his three-year stint there, Renan was three times included in the symbolic team of the best players of the Belarusian national championship (in 2009, 2010 and 2011).
In February 2012 the footballer made his debut for the Belarus national team in a match against Moldova.
Playing for Gomel, the Brazilian won the silver medal of the national championship in 2007. Together with BATE he won the championship in 2010 and 2011, the Belarusian Cup in 2010, and the Belarusian Super Cup in 2010 and 2011. In 2009 he was named the Most Valuable Foreign Player of the Belarusian Premier League. He is also the two-time Best Scorer of the National Championship (2010 and 2011).
In November 2012 Renan Bressan moved to Alania Vladikavkaz from the Russian Premier League. However, in the same season the club was relegated from the top-flight and stopped paying their players. After a couple of months Bressan resigned from Alania and became a free agent.
In January 2014 the playmaker joined a Kazakh side Aktobe but left the club several days later. In February Bressan moved to another Kazakh side Astana.
