Sami Allagui is a footballer of Tunisian origin, born in 1986 in Düsseldorf, West Germany. He spent his youth at the academies of FC Büderich, Fortuna Düsseldorf and Alemannia Aachen.
In 2005 he joined R.S.C. Anderlecht and stayed there till 2007, except a loan spell in K.S.V. Roeselare. He made only one appearance for the Belgium Anderlecht and then moved to FC Carl Zeiss Jena for a season. He featured in 15 matched and scored three goals for them.
In 2008 Allagui transferred to SpVgg Greuther Fürth and left them in 2010 for 1. FSV Mainz 05. Since 2012 he’s been a part of Hertha BSC.
Sami Allagui represents the Tunisia national team since 2008. He earned his first cap on 10 November 2008 and netted his first goal in the match against Sudan in May 2009.
