Stelios Malezas is a defender of Greek descent who currently represents Fortuna Düsseldorf. He was born on 11 March 1985 in Katerini, Greece.
Stelios joined Pontioi Katerini at the age of 15. He played for the junior team from 2000 to 2003. In 2003 Malezas began his senior career at PAOK, signing a three-year deal with the Greek side. During his 2003-2012 stay at PAOK he registered 129 outings and netted 3 goals. He also spent the 2004/2005 season at Irodotos on loan, where he took part in 30 matches for the club.
In 2012 Stelios Malezas completed a move to Fortuna Düsseldorf.
On 28 February 2010 Stelios was invited to the Greece national squad for the friendly game against Senegal. Malezas was also included in the national team for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
