Takashi Inui is a Japanese midfielder currently playing for Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Bundesliga. He was born on 2 June 1988 in Ōmihachiman, Japan.
Takashi embarked on his professional career at Yokohama F. Marinos in 2007. However, he made only 13 appearances in all competitions for the club for two seasons. In 2008, Inui transferred to Cerezo Osaka where he spent four successful seasons. For that time he established himself as a pillar of the team as he scored a total of 41 goals in 132 appearances for the club.
In the 2011/12 campaign, Inui moved to Germany where he joined VfL Bochum in the 2. Bundesliga. In the next season, he switched to Eintracht Frankfurt freshly promoted to the top flight and plays there today.
In January 2009, Takashi Inui was awarded his first cap to the Japan national team in an AFC Asian Cup match against Yemen.
