Tamika Mkandawire is a midfielder of Shrewsbury Town. He was born on 28 May 1983 in Mzuzu, Malawi.
In 1999, Tamika penned his first senior contract with West Bromwich Albion after graduating from the academy of the club. In 2007, Tamika transferred to Leyton Orient and became the pivot of the team, who amassed 14 goals in 114 games during three seasons. In the summer 2010, English side Millwall secured the footballer’s services on permanent basis and saw him score one goal in 46 fixtures till 2012, when the midfielder sealed a temporary deal with Southend United. Mkandawire featured in 18 matches for the club during his spell. Upon returning from loan Tamika moved to Shrewsbury Town.
