Tim Gilissen is a midfielder of NAC Breda. He was born on 4 June 1982 in Enschede, Netherlands.
Tim began to play football in vv Rigtersbleek, where he spent several years before moving to Vogido. The footballer also trained with SC Enschede and Twente, but his professional career took off in Heracles Almelo. Gilissen’s début came in 2002, but he managed to become a regular only by 2005.
Tim made 19 appearances and found the net one time for the club during three years. In 2005, the player completed a move to Go Ahead Eagles, where he clinched a place in the starting XI and fired five goals in 71 fixtures during two seasons. In 2007, Gilissen transferred to NAC Breda and took part in 105 matches for the new club till the beginning of the 2012/2013 season.
