Troy Deeney is a striker of Watford. He was born on 26 June 1988 in Solihull, England.
Troy started his career in the academy of Aston Villa, where he was getting ready for a professional start. The footballer got a real chance to perform at the senior level by 2006, when he was offered to pen a contract with Walsall. Deeney accepted the offer and was immediately sent on loan to Halesowen Town, where the striker showed stellar performance, as he amassed eight goals in ten games.
After returning to his parent Walsall, Troy gained the confidence of the head coach, who started to give the footballer more chances to make starts and sub appearances. Deeney took part in 123 matches and found the net 27 times for the club during four years.
In 2010, the striker sealed a long-term deal with Watford and cemented a place in the starting line-up of the new team in his début 2010/2011 season. Troy featured in 93 games and fired 21 goals for ‘The Hornets’ as of December 2012.
