Vanče Šikov is a center back for FC Volyn. He was born on 19 July, 1985 in Kavadarci, SFR Yugoslavia.
In 2002 Vanče Šikov became a player of Tikveš’s first team. During the 2002/03 season Šikov played 16 matches and netted one goal for the club. In 2003 Šikov went to Greek side Skoda Xanthi, where he has been actively performing during the debut season. During his stay at Xanthi Šikov featured in 55 matches and scored 2 goals.
In 2006 Šikov moved to Macedonian Pobeda Prilep. Here the defender stayed for one season, making 10 appearances and scoring 1 goal. In 2007 Šikov went to Greek Olympiacos, but almost immediately was loaned to Kerkyra FC, where Vanče stayed for six months, during which he participated in 12 games and hit the back of the net two times.
In the summer of 2007 Vanče Šikov signed a loan agreement with Apollon Kalamarias, where he made 22 appearances. In 2008 Šikov was bought by Greek side Ethnikos Achna, and performed for the club for three seasons. During that time, Vanče received constant match practice, totaling 77 matches and scoring 4 goals for the club. Ukrainian side Volyn Lutsk acquired Šikov in the summer of 2011, and quickly made him a key defender. Currently Šikov continues to perform for Volyn, successfully coping with his center back position.
In 2007 Vanče Šikov debuted for the national team of Macedonia.
