Wang Liang is a Chinese right midfielder who plays for Liaoning Whowin. He is also comfortable at right-back position. The player was born on April 1, 1979 in Shenyang, China.
Wang Liang started his senior career with Liaoning Whowin in 1999. He quickly developed into a classy midfielder. His continued progress was rewarded with a regular place in the first eleven. The flamboyant wide man represented Liaoning Whowin with distinction for 8 years, making 128 starts and netting 5 goals. In 2006 Shandong Luneng secured the services of the player. However, Wang Liang found it hard to settle in the new area and consequently made a loan move to Liaoning Whowin in 2008. On his return to Shandong Luneng, the right midfielder failed to break into the main squad. With first-team opportunities at a minimum, the Chinese player opted for a switch to Liaoning Whowin in 2012.
On July 28, 2000 Wang made his first China start in the friendly tie against South Korea. He was part of the Chinese squad that won the East Asian Football Championship in 2005. The pacy midfielder made a total of 11 appearances for his national team.
