Wang Xinxin is a Chinese midfielder, born on 27 April 1981 in Shenyang, China.
Wang began his football career in 2000, when joined the youth football academy of FC Liaoning . Due to his natural football talent he needed just a year and a half to get ready to move on to the professional level and signed a professional contract in 2002, joining the senior squad of the club.
At the beginning of his career he seldom featured with the first-team, as the head coach needed time to weigh up his talent. However, Xinxin didn’t need too much time to persuade his manager that he was a really gifted player and soon became a key player for the club. During his 6 years at Liaoning he also had a brief loan spell at FC Shenzhen Jianlibao in 2005, scoring 2 goals in 17 appearances. By the time he left his first club in 2005, he managed to score 30 goals during a total of 150 appearances in a shirt of the Northeast Tiger side.
In 2009 Wang clinched a deal with FC Tianjin Teda, where he gradually became an indispensable first-team member and the squad’s captain. During the 2010 season, Xinxin helped his team to finish runners-up in the Chinese Super League and got a place in the next season’s AFC Champions League, where they successfully passed the group stage, but were later knocked out in the playoffs.
At the international level he is a part of the China national football team. Wang debuted with the national side on 7 December 2002 during a 3-1 win against Syria, scoring his first international goal on his debut.
