FK Partizan is a Serbian club based in Belgrade. It was founded in 1945 and has never been relegated from the top division since 1947. Partizan has lifted 38 trophies since its establishment, including 24 league titles, 12 national cups and one Supercup.
‘The Black & Whites’ became the first Balkan club that took part in European Champions Cup (in 1955), the first East European club that progressed to the European Champions Cup final (in 1966) and the first Serbian club that participated in the UEFA Champions League group stage (in 2003). Besides, Partizan has several domestic honours, as they became the first club to win the Yugoslav First League and clinched five Serbian SuperLiga titles in a row (from 2007 till 2012).
The home ground of ‘The Black & Whites’ is Partizan Stadium with about 33,000 seats. According to various polls, nowadays Partizan is the second most popular Serbian club, which enjoys the support of 30% of country’s population.
The club’s most fierce rival is Red Star Belgrade. The matches between these two teams are called Eternal Derby, which takes fourth place among the ten most uncompromising rivalries according to Daily Mail.
