RKC Waalwijk is a Dutch football club. The team appeared in 1940 when three clubs HEC, WVB and Hercules merged to form RKC Waalwijk. The title of the team derives from ‘Rooms Katholieke Combinatie’ (in English - Roman Catholic Combination).
The first home arena of the team was Sportpark Olympia, where the club hosted its home games for more than half a century. In 1996 Mandemakers Stadion was opened and it became the team’s home arena that can hold 7500 supporters.
The team is one of the smallest in the top flight, yet Waalwijk played in the in the Eredvisie from 1988 to 2007 without dropping in the class. From 2007 to 2011 the side teetered on the brink between division one and division two, finally securing the 8th place in the Eredivisie in the season 2011/2012.
The official colors of the club are blue and yellow.
