Pablo Correa was born on March 14, 1967 in Montevideo, Uruguay. He is a former footballer and currently a coach. As a professional footballer, he played for Nacional de Montevideo, Rentistas, Penarol, Defensor, Sporting, San Lorenzo, Montevideo Wanderers and AS Nancy.
Pablo Correa was spotted by Carlos Curbelo. Since April 1995 he has wandered among South America clubs after which he left for Nancy in France. He scored in almost every fourth match after which he joined the club coaching staff.
At the same time he got necessary qualification to become the main team assistant head coach. Correa is a very promising coach who stood out already at the start of his career. Thus, on November 11, 2002 Pablo Correa became head coach and had an excellent second half of the season with the team. Under his charge the team progressed a good deal thanks to which they won promotion to the first division together with the French Cup.
In 2006 and 2007, he was called the Coach of the Year according to France Football having become the first coach to receive the award twice in a row. Soon, he announced he was leaving the club. On January 2, 2012 he became Évian Thonon Gaillard FC head coach.
