Reinaldo Rueda Rivera is a Colombian football manager. He currently coaches the Ecuadorian national team.
Reinaldo Rueda has a Physical Education degree and in Germany he did his Master’s Degree. He attended FIFA and UEFA actualization courses in Europe. Rueda has never been a professional football player.
Reynaldo Rueda’s coaching career started in Columbian clubs Independiente Medellín, Deportivo Cali and Cortuluá.
He guided the Colombian U-17, and then went on with U-20, U-21, U-23, and national teams. Since 2007 he headed the Honduran national football team for three years. Rueda’s team succeeded to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
In 2010 he was appointed the head coach of the Ecuadorian national team.
